The potential for 10 to 20 millimetres of rain has caused a special weather statement from Environment Canada.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County has been put under a special weather statement.
Environment Canada is forecasting the potential of 10 to 20 millimeters of rain. The conditions are expected to become worse overnight, as the temperature will rapidly decline with wind gusts of up to 80km/h. The main threat will be ice any slipery conditions on area roadways which could impact travel plans.
Power outages could occur as flurries and snow squalls off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay are also expected behind the front.
