An 11 year old girl is safe and sound after allegedly being abducted in Delhi on Monday.
DELHI - A 22 year man from Norfolk is accused of abducting a young girl from Delhi.
Police were called on Monday morning after getting a report of a missing 11 year old girl. After investigating they determined the girl had left home with a 22 year old man in the middle of the night. The pair made it all the way to Thunder Bay before police caught up to them.
Brandon Michael Labonte was arrested in Thunder Bay and has been charged with abduction of a person under 14 years of age and failure to comply with a probation order.
The child was not injured as a result of this incident and was apprehended under the Child and Family Services Act.
