LONDON - London Police want a Woodstock man.
42-year-old Cory Robert Fowler is wanted for human trafficking related charges following an investigation by the London Police Service Human Trafficking Unit. Police say it started in October 2023 after a man and woman started an intimate relationship. In November of the same year, the man suggested the woman become involved as a sex worker and began advertising her services on the internet for money.
There was an incident at a hotel in the 800-block of Exeter Road in London, where the suspect and victim argued about the victim not wanting to work as a sex worker, and that is when the assault happened. It was in April this year when the victim reported the situation to police, and the investigation was given to the LPS Human Trafficking Unit.
As a result of the investigation, Fowler has been charged by the way of an arrest warrant and is facing charges of Trafficking of a person under the age of 18, Financial or material benefit from trafficking a person under 18, Material benefit from sexual services provided by person under 18, Procuring a person under 18, Advertising another person’s sexual services, and Assault.
Fowler is described as White, approximately 5'11", weighing 157 pounds, with short brown hair and brown facial hair, and brown eyes. Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.
Police are also reminding people that if they see Fowler, not to approach him and call 9-1-1.
