Pre-trail submissions in Day 1 of the 1st degree murder case of Michael Raffery has already been adjourned. A publication ban prevents us from reporting on any of the submissions and discussions in court over the pre-trial phase. That includes the reasoning for today's early adjournment, however, the proceedings are set to resume at 10AM Tuesday morning. The pre-trial phase is expected to last 4-weeks before jury selection in late February. Tension was high in the courtroom this morning, Heart FM's Blair Wilson is covering the case and says "you could hear a pin drop" when Michael Rafferty entered the courtroom this morning, dressed in a suit. Rafferty's lawyer, Dirk Derstine and the father of slain 8-year-old Tori Stafford both fielded questions from the media outside the courthouse. Tune into Heart FM this afternoon for full details.
