The Employer One Survey is up and running in the counties of Oxford, Elgin and Middlesex.
OXFORD COUNTY - Calling all business owners in the counties of Oxford, Elgin and Middlesex!
The Employer One Survey is currently up and running online.
Liz Wismer-Van Meer, the Communications Assistant at Community Employment Services Oxford says the assessment is open to all bosses in the area, even those who employ people through a non profit agency or a community organization.
"What it really focuses on is the employer's workforce and their human resource issues, needs and challenges they are facing. It also gives them some helpful HR planning tools, helps them identify some of the skill shortages and informs the community as a whole what their workforce needs to look like."
The questions will be based on their sector and their number of employees; making it different for each person.
Wismer-Van Meer says employers can take their time filling it out.
"It's not like a sit down finish the whole thing at one time; you're not dedicating your entire afternoon to completing this survey. You'll log on there, begin the survey and work on it as you need to."
You can click here to start the survey. The deadline is January 31st 2018.
The assessment is a collaboration of workforce economic, education and business groups lead by the Elgin, Middlesex Oxford Workforce Planning and Development Board.
The Oxford Workforce Development Partnership is responsible for bringing the assessment to our neck of the woods. Community Employment Services Oxford is listed as a community partner on their website.
