Woodstock Police are investigating fraud allegations made against the former GM of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce has a new face at the helm.
Deborah Masters has been named the interim GM for the chamber. Her sixth month term will start on September 27th. Masters has been involved with the Chamber for a number of years now and comes highly recommended. The Business Awards will continue to take place as planned for November 2nd and you can book your tickets now.
Masters will take over for Martha Dennis who was terminated for cause on August 12th by the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. Woodstock Police have confirmed to Heart FM that Denis is under investigation for fraud in relation to her time as GM of the Chamber of Commerce. Dennis is well known in the community and actually ran for the Liberals in the Oxford County riding during the 2008 Federal Election.
