WEST PERTH - An infant has died following a farm accident in West Perth.
Perth County OPP, Perth County EMS and West Perth Fire Department received a report of a farm accident today at 6:00 pm, occurring at a rural home on Line 32.
OPP says an infant was struck by a piece of farm equipment and was pronounced dead.
Members of the Perth County Major Crime Unit, Traffic Collision Investigation unit (TCI) are continuing to investigate.
The public is being asked to avoid the area of Line 32 and Road 155 for the next few hours.
There is no safety concerns for the public and police will provide an update when possible.
