***Snow Squall Watch In Effect*** (6:15am) Woodstock and Oxford County residents are getting their first major blast of winter today. Environment Canada says upwards of 15 to 25 centimeters of snow is expected to fall throughout the day today. The weather agency says high winds snow squalls are drifting southward into London, Stratford and Woodstock areas. There is also potential tonight for up to 40 centimeters of are possible if one or more of the snow squalls become stationary for more than 6 hours. Strong and gusty winds will likely cause low to no visibility in the blowing snow in these areas affected by heavy flurries and snow squalls. Commuters may consider altering travel plans into these regions.
