DELHI - Members of the OPP will be discussing issues that affect the Delhi region at their latest event. OPP will be hosting the Delhi community for Tea with the OPP at the James St. Tim Hortons.
Constable Ed Sanchuk talks about the event.
"We've held various OPP socials before and I can tell you that people have an opportunity to come in and voice their concerns about what's happening in their community, or to sit down and have a cup of tea, or a cup of coffee or you know if it gonna be a hot chocolate, to sit down and actually converse one on one to break down those barriers as well"
The event will be monthly and they plan to expand it to other regions says Sanchuk.
"We do a tea with the OPP once a month. I know that we appreciate all the establishments so we are trying to hold it in different areas of the communities and I can tell you we are in discussions with Inspector Tony Heimers and we are going to be holding Tea with the OPP or Coffee with a Cop in the Oxford County really shortly."
All members of the public are welcome to the event between 11am and 1pm.
