The Social Planning Council of Oxford is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Oxford County Social Justice Award.
OXFORD COUNTY - Nominations have opened for the 2022 Oxford County Social Justice Award.
Last year's award winner was Giselle Lutfallah. Lutfallah was selected for her volunteer efforts with Oxford County Community Health Centre, Oxford Situation Table, United Way and for her work in the community. You can read more about her online here.
You can nominate the 2022 award winner until April 22, 2022. It can go to a single person or an organization.
The award criteria is as follows.
- There is a clear impact on the community that can be attributed to the work of the nominee.
- The work of the nominee is either ongoing or was conducted for a considerable period of time.
- Must show a commitment to social justice in times of crisis.
- Trailblazer in matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the context of organizational change, community engagement, and/or social transformation.
- Works, volunteers, and/or lives in Oxford County.
The Social Planning Council of Oxford is asking you to consider nominating you know or passing this on to the networks that you are a part of so that a deserving individual, group or organization can be recognized for the tireless work that they do. You can find a nomination form online here.
