A Norfolk man has been charged with sexual interference with a minor and sexual assault after a family was attacked at a restaurant in Simcoe.
SIMCOE - Norfolk OPP have arrested and charged a man they say sexually assaulted a mother in front of her children at a restaurant in Simcoe.
Police released photo's of the suspect yesterday and they were able to make an arrest shortly afterwards. 28 year old Tyler Kevin Chambers of Norfolk County has been charged with 2 counts of sexual interference with a person under 16 and 2 counts of sexual assault.
A two year old, 13 year old girl, and 16 year old young woman were sitting alone at The Shire Restaurant last Tuesday night when they were approached by a man. Police say Chambers picked up the toddler, attempted to kiss the 13 year old and hug the 16 year old. At that time the 41 year old mother returned to the table and was sexually assaulted before the man left the restaurant.
Chambers will appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
