The Navy Vets suffered an 8-0 loss to the Bulldogs on Saturday, but celebrated a 4-3 win over the Hawks yesterday. The Merchants also beat the Dolphins 8-3 on Friday.
PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets kicked off the PJHL pre-season with a win and a loss.
They suffered an 8-0 loss to the Mount Brydges Bulldogs in Komoka on Saturday, but bounced back with a 4-3 victory over the Mitchell Hawks at Southwood Arena yesterday. Aiden Kindurys, Aidan Reid, Brady Carne, and Connor Stanley scored for the Vets yesterday, while Scott Rodrigue finished the game with 30 saves.
The Norwich Merchants also hit the ice over the weekend. They celebrated an 8-3 win over the Dorchester Dolphins at Nor-Del Arena Friday night.
The Tavistock Braves will begin their pre-season this Friday, when they host the Dolphins at the Tavistock and District Recreation Centre. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Thamesford Trojans will kick off their preseason in Komoka this Saturday, battling the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m.
