All of Oxford County's PJHL Teams celebrated wins over the weekend.
PJHL - It was a decent weekend for Oxford County's PJHL teams.
The Woodstock Navy Vets suffered a 4-2 loss to the Tavistock Braves on Friday, but they bounced back with a 3-1 victory over the Wellesley Applejacks on Saturday.
The Braves fell to the New Hamburg Firebirds 7-4 on Saturday.
It was a weekend of wins for the Norwich Merchants with a 3-1 victory over the Hespeler Shamrocks on Friday and a 3-1 win over the Paris Titans on Saturday.
Looking at the Doherty Division standings, the Firebirds are in first place with 10 points and they're followed by the Merchants with 8 points. The Navy Vets, the Braves and the Applejacks are tied for third place with 6 points each. The Shamrocks sit in fourth place with 4 points and they're followed by the Dorchester Dolphins with 3 points and the Titans with 2 points.
Over in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans crushed the Port Stanley Sailors 6-2 on Friday and narrowly beat the North Middlesex Stars 2-1 in overtime on Saturday.
The Trojans sit in third place in the Yeck Division standings with 8 points, behind the Petrolia Flyers with 9 points and the Exeter Hawks with 12 points.
