The Province also confirmed 1,072 resolved cased today and 96 new cases of COVID-19 variants.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 994 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 304,757.
Ontario also confirmed 10 new deaths this morning bringing the total to 7,024. Another 1,072 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 287,424. Ontario confirmed 17 new cases of COVID-19 variants yesterday. The Province also confirmed 96 new variant cases today, this means we now have a total of 644 cases of the variant that originated in the U.K, 31 of the variant traced back to South Africa and 3 that originated in Brazil.
The province completed over 65,643 tests yesterday. We currently have 649 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 281 people in the ICU and 183 in the ICU on a ventilator.
