WOODSTOCK - Woodstock District Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for their 49th annual golf tournament.
General Manager Kim Whitehead says the tournament will get underway on July 4th at Craigowan Golf Club.
"It's a four person scramble format. There's a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Every golfer is going to receive a prize and our prize is going to be from Gunn's Hill Cheese. We're excited, they're changing that up a bit for us this year."
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- Registration at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Shot Gun Start at 11:00 a.m.
- Networking at 4:30 p.m.
- Dinner at 5:30 p.m.
Whitehead adds all golfers will be provided with a continental breakfast, BBQ lunch, dinner and a cart.
"We'll have some fun holes, there's some hole in ones and there's some fun games we're going to be doing. It's a really great day to network and have some fun golfing."
For Craigowan members the price is $135.00 per person + HST and for non-Craigowan members it's $165.00 per person + HST. If you are thinking of just stopping by to enjoy dinner it is only $45.00 per person + HST.
All golfers are expected to follow Craigowan's club regulations. A dress code will be in effect. You can sign up for the event online on Woodstock District Chamber of Commerce's website under events.
