Expect parts of the park to be closed off as they complete the restoration project.
PARIS - A Paris Park will have construction done in the coming month.
Lion's Park will have restoration work done from September 4th till the end of the month.
Director of Facilities and Parks, Kathy Valentine says it is to clear what was some temporary work.
"There was a temporary road installed to facilitate trucks coming in and out of the park last year. So we're basically taking out a gravel road, and restoring it back to the grass and putting some of the playground equipment back in."
Portable washrooms will be brought in however, and the park will remain open.
Valentine says parents are warned to keep an eye on their kids if playing near construction sites.
"Basically we said use caution when you're coming across the bridge. It will be fenced off however, there is a lot of traffic with trucks and equipment moving in that area. It could be dusty, that type of thing."
