OPP receive call from concerned citizen of man yelling for help near Thames River in Ingersoll
INGERSOLL -- Emergency crews were searching the waters of Ingersoll Sunday evening.
According to police, they received a call from a concerned citizen that reported hearing a male yelling for help in the area of King Street West.
Oxford OPP, the Emergency Response Team, Ingersoll and Woodstock Fire Departments along with Oxford EMS conducted a thorough search of the area including the Thames River.
The search showed up with nothing and police say there were no other calls of anyone in distress or a person missing locally from the surrounding areas.
OPP are asking anyone with relevant information or who may have been in the King Street West area at the time in question to give them a call at 519-485-6554.
