An Indigenous celebration to bring in summer will take place at Terra Nova Nordic Spa.
WOODSTOCK - A celebration of summer is coming to Woodstock.
Terra Nova Nordic Spa is hosting the Summer Solstice on Friday. Organizer, Wenday Lemanski-Killing says there will be lots to see and do at the event.
"This year we upwards of 30 vendors coming in between 4 and 8 p.m. They are anything that you can imagine that fits under the welcoming in summer with enlightenment, inspiration, joy, and love. So, if they fit under that umbrella they will be there."
The event will also include Indigenous storytelling, drumming, dancing, and spa tours. Lemanski-Killing mentions attending is free, but you can help with an award.
"We are accepting donations. We are going to offer at least one bursary or scholarship to an Indigenous student that has recently graduated or is enrolled in college or university."
The event will run until midnight, and features spa tours, Indigenous storytelling, drumming and dancing, and much more.
