Three plays will be featured in the Festival of One Act Plays this weekend; Changing Rooms, Plan B, and Fidelity Farce.
WOODSTOCK - The Festival of One Act Plays (FOAP) returns to Theatre Woodstock!
It's happening on Thursday April 11th, Friday April 12th, and Saturday April 13th. Each show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and it will feature three, 30 minute plays.
They're all comedies and Stage Manager Isaac Atfield tells us about one of them.
"Changing Rooms is a social commentary on women when they have go pick out a new outfit and what's going on behind the scenes that most men don't really get experience with. So we get to show off a bit of that, there's a bit of fun and a lot of jokes."
The other plays are titled Plan B and Fidelity Farce and audience members should be over the age of 14 to enjoy them.
The FOAP always features local actors, and Executive Director Ted McLauchlin says you can expect to see some new faces on the stage this year.
"This is a great training ground for people who have always wanted to but are a little afraid to try. Because it's a smaller commitment, it's a lot of fun for them to come up and they go on and do other things! Once they gain some confidence and have some fun with it, it's a great thing."
Tickets cost $15 each and they can be purchased through the Theatre Woodstock website. The FOAP will also return to Theatre Woodstock November 15th, November 16th, and November 17th this year.
Isaac Atfield and Ted McLauchlin stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Monday April 8th. You can listen to the full interview below:
