Emergency services were at the scene, and the Tillsonburg resident was transported by ambulance to the hospital for minor injuries.
TILLSONBURG - A 45-year-old from Tillsonburg was struck in a two-vehicle collision just outside of Windham Centre.
Norfolk County OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision at Windham East Quarter Line Road on Friday, September 23, around 5 p.m., and determined that a vehicle was struck from behind at a stop sign while stopped at the intersection.
Emergency services were at the scene, and the Tillsonburg resident was transported by ambulance to the hospital for minor injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle however, was a 42-year-old from Norfolk County and they were charged with numerous offences. The charges include careless driving, three counts of driving while under suspension, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failing to properly wear a seat belt, and use of plates not authorized for vehicle.
The Norfolk resident is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
