The cheque will be split between United Way Oxford and United Way Elgin Middlesex.
OXFORD COUNTY - United Way of Elgin Middlesex and Oxford County will receive money that was fundraised through the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB).
A donation is being made by the to the tune of $229,150. This is a result of the the 2024 campaign, which ended last November.
It has been decades that TVDSB staff members have hosted fundraising events for United Way. These events have been a big part of the United Way campaign and usually highlight the beginning of a new school year in the fall.
The donations will support the important and impactful work of the two United Way organizations in TVDSB communities.
