Thirteen local organizations will receive a community grant from the City of Woodstock this fall.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock City Council has signed off on more than $84,000 worth of community grants.
Thirteen organizations will receive funding for the fall intake.
Ingamo Homes will get the largest cheque for $37,500 followed by Operation Sharing with $10,000. Cycles of Life is walking away with $8,000 and the Woodstock Curling Centre is set to receive $6,000
The City distributes community grants two times a year, once in the spring and again in the fall, and the money comes from the revenue the city makes from local casino.
