If all goes as planned, the Woodstock Fire department could have a new pumper truck by November. City Council approved the nearly $400 thousand request Thursday night. Fire Chief Scott Tegler says the truck is already in production which would allow for the early delivery. Of the top bids made on the truck, there was just a $72 difference between the top two distributors with Darch Fire coming out on top.
