Chief Daryl Longworth has been elected as Vice-President on the new Board Executive, a role that he will have for one year.
WOODSTOCK - The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) has announced that Woodstock's top cop, Chief Daryl Longworth has been elected as Vice-President on the new Board Executive.
The announcement was made at the OACP Annual General Meeting held on June 25th.
The father of 7 has served as the Chief of Police for the Woodstock Police Service for just over one year now. In Longworth's previous role, he served as one of London's two deputy chiefs, he oversaw police operations and later administration. Longworth has served a combined 27 years with Woodstock police and the Halton Regional police. He has worked in criminal investigations, drug enforcement, undercover operations and emergency response.
Chief Longworth will hold his new title and role for one year.
