3PM News Conference Called at City Hall

City officials have called a news conference for this afternoon. Heart FM will have details on an announcement that will be made at 3PM in city council chambers. The news conference is being held 3-days after a closed door meeting amongst council, dealing with the disposition of land. It's expected a deal with Sysco Foods is going to be announced, seeing the food company build a distribution warehouse in Woodstock. The London Free Press cited Sysco sources earlier this week as saying a deal was pending with the city of Woodstock to open a new warehouse here. 150 jobs are expected to be created.
