A 38-year-old from Woodstock has been charged with domestic assault among other charges.
KILWORTH - The Middlesex OPP received a report of a domestic disturbance at a parking lot on Jefferies Road in Kilworth.
When police arrived at the scene around 7:40 last night, they found that the abuser was drunk, which was confirmed through the use of a breathalyzer.
The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries by Middlesex-London Paramedics.
As a result, a 38-year-old from Woodstock has been charged with Assault - Spousal, Overcome Resistance by Attempting to Choke, Suffocate, or Strangle another Person, Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm-Spousal, and Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
