A backhoe has been stolen from the Oxford County Memorial Park Cemetery in Zorra Township. Sometime over night between Sunday June 24 and Monday June 25, unknown suspects entered onto the cemetery property and removed a 2007 John Deer model 110 backhoe (looking much like the picture shown). The equipment is bright yellow in colour and valued at approximately $40,000. The stolen equipment is believed to have been driven away from the cemetery and may have travelled into the Beachville area via the 45th Line which intersects with Queen Street in Beachville. If you have any information in relation to this theft, contact the Oxford County OPP at 519-485-6554 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-222-8477.
