Police found nothing suspicious after the Walmart in Woodstock was locked down by a bomb threat. The investigation is ongoing.
WOODSTOCK - Police are still investigating after a bomb threat at the Woodstock Walmart.
Around 6:14 p.m. on Sunday February 7th Woodstock Police were informed by a store employee that they had been told by an unidentified man there was a bomb inside the store.
The store was quickly evacuated and police conducted a thorough sweep while the store remained locked down for a few hours. Police did not find anything suspicious or any evidence of an explosive during the sweep.
The store has reopened for normal business hours.
