Thames Valley District School Board students in Oxford and Middlesex will need to find an alternate mode of transportation to get to school this morning, as all school purpose vehicles are cancelled for the morning run, but will run as scheduled for the afternoon.
OXFORD / BRANT - Environment Canada has issue a Fog Advisory this morning for the region. The blanket of fog has also affected the morning bus run for students. All School purposes vehicles have been cancelled for the morning in Oxford and Middlesex. The afternoon buses will be running as scheduled.
Drivers should be cautious on the roads as the dense fog has caused some areas to have near zero visibility.
Additionally there is a risk of freezing drizzle this morning, untreated surfaces may become slippery.
As the morning progresses, the conditions are expected to improve.
Slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop quickly.
