CALEDON - There is an Ontario-wide warrant out for two individuals who were a part of a murder, along with two attempted murders of an individual in 2020 and 2021.
In 2020, police were called to a shooting at a business in Vaughan, where an individual was taken to the hospital. In 2021, members of the Caledon police responded to a shooting at a residence where two people sustained gunshot wounds, including the victim of the Vaughan incident. 65-year-old Giovanni Costa was pronounced dead at the scene.
The warrants are for 27-year-old Filmon Fesshaghirgis & 48-year-old Waheed Barakziye, who are both from London but are known to also frequent the GTA. The men are charged with first degree murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Ontario's Government is offering a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the murder of Costa.
