Companies from across North America will be in Woodstock displaying the latest agriculture technology during Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show.
WOODSTOCK - The future of Agriculture will once again be coming to Woodstock.
Canada's Outdoor Farm Show will take over the Friendly City in a couple of weeks. President Doug Wagner tells Heart FM about some of the new technology out on the fields.
"We are demonstrating deep rippers this year and that is a tillage tool that goes into the ground probably over 14 inches and there are some new designs of that equipment that will be at the show this year."
Companies from across North America will be displaying some of the latest agriculture technology during the show. Wagner says if you want to see what the future of Agriculture looks like, you should probably head to the show.
"There are some crops here that are still experimental that are just going to be coming onto the market in the next year or two and of course cash crop farmers like coming here because we have most of the major companies with demonstration plots on site."
Wagner adds he is also looking forward to the always popular dairy barn.
"We now have automated feeding systems which will be on display at the show this year and of course they also have some new equipment in the dairy barn that are designed to help handle the cattle better around robots."
