The Festival Town will be living up to their name this weekend. The 13th Annual Canterbury Folk Festival will be occupying Yvonne Holmes Mott Memorial Park in Ingersoll. The festivities kick off with the 'Swine and Wine' pig roast at 5 pm tonight. Tickets for that event are $12 and are available at the festival. The rest of the festivities are free to the public. Ingersoll Mayor and the festival's Artistic Director Ted Comiskey says there is something for everyone in the family, "when the Canterbury Folk Festival first started 13 years ago, our plan was to make sure we covered the family. We have a great children's area; there will be puppet theatres, musicians, entertainers down in our children's area. And also we have a senior's tea centre. And so what we try to do is a full range of everything across". The festivities will be set up not only in the park but also along Thames Street where the Ingersoll BIA will host their Sidewalk Fair Saturday.
