Community Futures Oxford handed out three special awards during its 30th Annual General Meeting last week.
OXFORD COUNTY - Terra Nova Nordic Spa is the winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Community Futures Oxford.
Jody Pendry received the award during the Community Futures Oxford Annual General Meeting on Wednesday June 28th.
Jessica Eterno from Sew Stylish Wedding Works was named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
"It is great to be a part of Oxford County and the amazing community of Ingersoll. I really appreciate all the support we have received throughout the years. I am grateful to Community Futures Oxford for allowing me to be able to continue the legacy of Sew Stylish."
The Oxford Invitational Youth Robotics Challenge also received the Community Economic Development Project of the Year Award.
Allan Simm, the General Manager of Community Futures Oxford, says the organization also celebrated its 30th anniversary during the AGM.

As we reflect on the challenges and successes of the past thirty years, we look forward to being part of a thriving local economy in Oxford County.”
Community Futures Oxford has distributed $24,401,283 in loans and equity to 417 businesses since its inception in 1993. It has also awarded 368 grants with a combined total of $1,334,208.
