Three people riding in a stolen vehicle struck and killed a cyclist on Saturday afternoon on Wilson Line in Malahide Township.
ELGIN COUNTY - A stolen vehicle driving on Wilson Line just east of Belmont Road struck and killed a cyclist on Saturday afternoon.
Police say three people were in the stolen vehicle when they hit the cyclist around 4:50 pm in Malahide Township. 59 year old Michael Smith of London was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Three people were arrested and charged, with the help of the West Region Canine and West Region Emergency Response Team members that afternoon. Police have not released the names of the three people, or their charges.
The investigation is still continuing and further updates will be provided when they become available.
