Tavistock will be getting it's very own spray pad with construction starting in the fall.
TAVISTOCK - East Zorra-Tavistock has planned for it's first ever spray pad.
Scheduled for next year, it will feature motion activated or water sprinklers, sprayers and games with the budget being two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
The funds are coming from a $150,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and over $100,000 in community fundraising; plus a $35,000 corporate donation by Saputo.
The contract to build the pad was awarded to Openspace Solutions Inc. at the last council meeting and construction is scheduled to start in the fall.
Below is the concept art for the spray pad.
