Police, firefighters, and paramedics will be responding to a realistic multiple-casualty event at the Fanshawe College Woodstock/Oxford Regional Campus this morning.
WOODSTOCK - If you spot a bunch of emergency vehicles and hear a bunch of sirens at the Fanshawe College Woodstock/Oxford Regional Campus, don't panic.
An emergency management training exercise will be taking place between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. today and it will involve members of the Woodstock Police Service, the Woodstock Fire Department, Oxford County Paramedic Services, and Middlesex London Paramedic Services. The exercise will also include City of Woodstock personnel as well as Fanshawe staff and students.
Emergency crews will be responding to a realistic multiple casualty event, so they will be prepared if something ever does happen.
Members of the public should avoid the area while the exercise is taking place.
