Another field fire in Oxford County in as many days. This time it was in South West Oxford on Karn Road, east of Dodge Line. A spark from a piece of farm equipment is believed to have sparked a straw field. Crews from Beachville, Mount Elgin and Brownsville, along with Zorra crews put out the fire. 15-thousand dollars in damage was done to the crop. That follows a similar fire yesterday, where a wheat field went up in flames on the 27th Line of Zorra Township.
