Southwestern Public Health is reporting five more people have fully recovered from COVID-19 today, including three in Oxford County.
WOODSTOCK - No new cases of COVID-19 in the region today according to Southwestern Public Health.
In fact another five patients have fully recovered from COVID-19 in our region, including 3 people in Oxford County. The recoveries in Oxford are in Tillsonburg and two in Woodstock. This means Oxford County currently has 8 active cases of COVID-19, while St. Thomas and Elgin has 5 active cases. You can get a break down of the cases by Township in Oxford County below:

- 1 cases in Woodstock
- 1 cases in Blandford-Blenheim
- 1 cases in Zorra Township
- 1 case in Norwich Township
- 1 case in South West Oxford Township
To date, the Health Unit has tested 2,834 people for COVID-19. We have 60 cumulative confirmed cases, 43 cases have been resolved, 4 people have died from the virus and we currently have 13 active cases. We have also had two institutional outbreaks since the pandemic was declared, both in Elgin County. One of them has been resolved and the second one was declared after a staff member at a long term care home tested positive.
