Gems and Java: Home Edition will be livestreamed starting at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night and the online silent auction will get underway at 8:00 a.m. this morning.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Gems and Java online silent auction will get underway this morning, with all of the proceeds going to Mothers with a Heart for Ethiopia.
Founder and Chair Shelley Green says they have lots of great items up for grabs.
"There are several baskets that people can bid on and we have great gift certificates which make beautiful gifts. We also have handmade items as well, we have a number of beautiful pillowcases that have been sewn by some of our volunteers."
The bidding will officially begin at 8:00 a.m. today and end at 8:00 p.m. on Monday November 1st. You can view the items and bid on your favourites online here.
The online auction coincides with Gems and Java: Home Edition, which will be live streamed over YouTube this Friday night starting at 7:00 p.m. Green says it's a great chance to learn more about Mothers with a Heart for Ethiopia and their seven humanitarian projects overseas.
"All of those seven projects are touching lives in very significant ways. We hope that you'll tune in, you can sit and watch it by yourself, you can invite a friend over to watch with you or tune in with your family and you'll hear on our program how you can give."
You'll be able to donate to the cause and find the livestream link for Gems and Java: Home Edition online here.
