It's another heat alert for Oxford County today; the second this week and sixth this year. Public Health are reminding everyone to take extra precaution during the hot and humid weather. Environment Canada has issued a humidex advisory for our region with humidex values expected to reach close to 40 degrees this afternoon. Public Health have a number of tips for staying safe in the extreme heat that you can review by clicking here. Keep in mind children, seniors and those who suffer from chronic health conditions are most vulnerable during these hot, humid days.
