Oxford County is under another heat alert; the fifth this year. With the temperature expected to soar into the 30s, pushing into 40s with the humidex, people are being reminded to take extra precautions while working outdoors today. Public Health have tips on staying safe in the heat on their website, which you can view by clicking here. The alert, which was issued this morning, is in effect for today only as temperatures are expected to drop back to more seasonal values tomorrow.
