Temperatures will feel like 40 degrees with the humidity this afternoon and tomorrow.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for most of Southwestern Ontario including Oxford County.
Afternoon temperatures are expected to hit 31 degrees today, and it will feel like 40 degrees with the humidity. The overnight low is going to be 20 degrees. The extreme heat is expected to last into Tuesday.
Hot and humid air can bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index to reach the high risk category.
Young children, pregnant women, older adults and people with chronic illnesses are at the greatest risk.
If you have to work outside, make sure to drink plenty of water.
Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
