The Traveller Gas Bar on Highway 59 suffered $2,000 in damage after a hit and run collision.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - The Traveller Gas Bar on Highway 59 in Norwich Township was badly damaged after a hit and run collision.
Police say the crash happened on Friday night near the intersection of Oxford Road 13. The owners of the gas bar were awoken to screeching tires and a loud bang. When they got out of bed they noticed a small red car fleeing the scene heading southbound on Oxford Road 13. The next morning they noticed damage to the outside wall of the business and called police.
Investigation at the scene revealed the front lawn had obvious tire tracks leading to the building. Damages are estimated at $2,000.
