Police are searching for a man they believe was involved in a hit and run on Wellington Street.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are looking for the public's help after a hit and run collision on Wellington Street.
Police say the crash happened early Monday evening when a man was rear ended after pulling over to the side of the road for ambulance. The man did speak with the driver who rear ended him and they both agreed to pull over into a safer area, due to the heavy flow of traffic.
Only problem was the suspect driver that crashed into him fled the area, instead of pulling over to a safer location. The suspect is described as a 30 year old man with long blonde hair, a thin build and wearing glasses. He was driving a dark coloured full size pickup truck with possible damage to the front bumper.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact Woodstock Police or Crime Stoppers.
