One man is facing gun related charges after chasing foxes in the Village of Mount Elgin.
A hunter has been charged after chasing foxes through Mount Elgin.
The OPP were called out after complaints of hunters chasing foxes in the village.
When police caught up with the hunters, a 71 year old man from Bayham was charged with possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The guns and ammo were taken and the man will appear in a Woodstock court in the future.
Hunters are being reminded that going onto someone else's property could result in trespassing charges, and even mischief if damage is done to the property.
