Fire services remain on the scene of an early morning blaze on Huron Street in Woodstock
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Fire Department remains on scene of an early morning fire at 110 Huron Street.
When Fire services arrived on the scene at approximately 3:30 a.m. smoke was already showing and a fire blazed in the basement.
One resident was taken to hospital. The extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.
Two people managed to evacuate the building safely.
A damage estimate pegs the dollar value at $50 000. Fire service will remain on scene until investigators arrive, so expect slow downs on Huron street between Ingersoll and Canterbury.
