The Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts has released their December show. Daddy Long Legs will hit the stage December 8th to 17th.
INGERSOLL - The new production for the Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts has been announced.
Their December play will be Daddy Long Legs.
Daddy Long Legs is the story of a young girl, Judy Abbott, who has been raised in an orphanage.
After her work is noticed by a mysterious benefactor - eighteen year-old Judy is to receive a full college scholarship to become a writer.
The play follows Judy and her benefactor - an anonymous man under the alias "John Smith," as Judy fulfills the only requirement for the scholarship: to write to Mr. Smith about her daily life in college.
In a release Director, Lilyan Moyer says, "You’re going to laugh and you’re going to cry - most of all you’re going to enjoy the experience."
Daddy Long Legs runs December 8-17 with the shows on December 8, 9, 14, 15 beginning at 7:30pm and the shows December 10, 16, 17 at 2:00pm). The production is sponsored by ICM Insurance Agency.
