A family tragedy has turned into an annual motorcycle fundraiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. John's Journey took place in Woodstock yesterday and was created in memory of John Harris, a local man who died of a heart attack while on the job. Ride Founder Fred Deadman says the ride brings with it a very important message. "To bring awareness and learn how to use an AED and how to do CPR and if we make $4000 we can have an AED donated to the County through the Heart and Stroke Foundation which I hope will do some good." Deadman says it's important for everyone to learn CPR and how to use a portable defibrillator to help save lives in the community.
