Two men from Oxford County, Tillsonburg and Woodstock were part of a group lottery win.
WOODSTOCK - Four men from the region are $1 million dollars richer after winning the Lotto Max Maxmillions draw.
The winners include James Paterson from Tillsonburg and Steven Molloy from Woodstock. They purchased their winning ticket at Rose’s Sandytown Variety on Plank Road in Straffordville. The pair had been playing the lotto at work for some time time now.
Molloy said he was surprisingly speechless when he found out.
“I was shocked. I’m usually pretty vocal guy.”
As for Paterson he was a little bit more subdued.
“I was actually pretty calm when Joe called me, but was very excited.”
Molloy plans to spend his winnings on a new car and taking a trip with his family, while Paterson is already planning a cruise in Greece.
