Members of the Woodstock Health and Fitness Centre we're shocked to a closed sign when they showed up for their workouts.
WOODSTOCK - Members of the Woodstock Health and Fitness Centre were surprised to see a closed sign on the door last week.
The gym inside the Woodstock and District Community Complex closed up shop last Thursday. The bank seized all their equipment and assets last week leaving patrons wondering if they will be eligible for a refund.
Facilities Operational Manager of the Woodstock and District Community Complex Darren Hall says that the gym had a lease with the complex until the end April this year. He tells Heart FM they have already started making plans on what to do with the space.
"Probably our idea moving forward is we are going to use that space for recreational programming, for camps and classes but that is still kind of at the starting point right now."
